Dann in real life...

Well, here I am again.
It is currently Thursday, March 12, 2009, 0436 hours.
I know it has been quite awhile since the last time I wrote anything worth reading. For the past several weeks I have had a severe inner ear infection. This past Sunday seemed as though it was nearly gone. So after I got up and did what everyone does upon first waking, I grabbed my clothes, threw them in the dryer to making it easier to iron them, then went into the kitchen to get a drink of water. I grabbed a clean glass filled it from the tap, its well water, and started to drink. Here’s where things get a bit strange. I was still groggy from having just woke up, but as best as I can remember, everything seemed to slow down, so instinct told me to drink faster. So I did, I began gulping the water as fast as I could. The moment I put the glass down my stomach began to ache, right beneath my lower ribs. I am no stranger to pain, having experienced it in extreme forms most of my life, but when this pain his me I felt weak in the legs, nauseous, and light headed. I grabbed the sink to steady myself and in case I lost the previous night’s dinner I was close to an empty receptacle, the sink. Next thing I know, my brother, Rob, is standing nearby shouting something, and hearing my mom coming into the room and strange dreams mixed with everything. When consciousness fully returned to me, I realized I had passed out and fell onto the mop bucket full of water and had hit my head pretty bad. I still felt nauseous. So I picked myself up and rushed to the bathroom and sat on the edge of the bath tub and held my head over the toilet. It seemed as though I had gallons of saliva in my mouth. Over the next several minutes I removed it all from my mouth and felt a little better. Sadly I knew right away that I would not be going to church that day. I went the rest of the day with no problems other than the headache caused from hitting the floor, to which I still have, unabated. Since then my ear infection has returned to me 10 fold and is causing me no end of pain. As a side note to all this, I have been having some trouble keeping my lower legs and feet warm. Because of the pain and the headache I haven’t had the small amount of sleep I’m use to and I am very short tempered, and slightly moody.
So that’s how I am right now. In pain day in day out, grumpy, and sleepy, and I am not talking about those stupid dwarves, the likes of which I would like to fry up in butter, maybe with a little nutmeg and some sautéed mushrooms as well. Anyway that’s it for today. Hope everyone else is doing ok.
