today i went to seabright beach in santa cruz. it was about 70-75 outside while i was there, and at first the winds were only around 10-15mph, but soon they neared 20+ mph. anyway, it was the ysa regional beach trip. we had approximately 60+ people there. jacen and i ended up cooking, or mostly jacen as cody and i were assisting. but we fed them all, hamburgers and hotdogs. before i went to help jacen, i dug me a fox hole. i was about knee deep, around a foot wide at the bottom and 7 feet long. yep it protected me from the hostile invading force known as "the wind". the whole time i was digging and cooking jeff and matt were at first making a mario sand cart, but then moved onto a naked sand lady lying face down in the sand. on the plus side of things, the down side being over 6 feet tall and having to sit in the back seat to and from the beach, there was an attractive girl there that if things were different, i would ask her out. oh well. live in the moment as best as possible. "the past is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift, thats why they call it the present." well im off to try to figure out how to tie the stinking knot. later.
